About the Author/Illustrator: Gabriel grew up sketching his favorite characters and imagining far off places in the woods of Indiana. After studying illustration and drawing at Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis, the idea for Among the Saints took root in his heart to share the lives of Saints in a way that his younger self would have read and enjoyed. He resides in Indiana (near those same woods) with his wife and four daughters. In his free time he enjoys gaming with his brothers, learning about Japanese culture, longboarding with his daughter, and spending lots of Sundays with family and friends at his parish, Saint Stephen the First Martyr.
