Shipping FAQ

Important information: Due to current circumstances, please understand that couriers may be working behind schedule. If you selected USPS MediaMail, or a flat-rate or free shipping promotion, it may take more than one week for your tracking to update even after they have picked up your package.

Where is my jewelry item? It didn't arrive with the rest of my order.

If you placed an order for fine jewelry along with other items, it will ship separately. The automated tracking notifications you receive will be for the other items. Jewelry tracking will be sent to you in a second "order confirmation" email very similar to the order confirmation that is emailed within minutes of you first placing an order.

How much will it cost to ship my order?

Follow these steps for a shipping estimate:

  1. Add items to your cart
  2. Click the "Add Info" button in the "Shipping" Field
  3. Choose your Country, State/Province, and Zip/Postcode
  4. Click the "Estimate Shipping" button again to view eligible shipping methods and their rates

How do you determine shipping rates for an order?

  1. Weight
  2. Location

When comparing shipping rates between the various carriers and ship methods, please note that the more expensive shipping option does not mean faster shipping.

We recommend UPS (United Parcel Service) for the most timely and efficient delivery.

What are my shipping options and how long will it take to receive my order? Expect delays during and around holidays as UPS and USPS deal with above average order volume.

UPS Ground - Please allow an average of 2-7 business days to receive your order (occasionally longer, particularly to the West Coast of the United States).

UPS SurePost - Please allow an average of 2-9 business days to receive your order (occasionally longer, particularly to the West Coast of the United States).

USPS Priority Mail - Please allow an average of 2-7 business days to receive your order (occasionally longer).

USPS Ground Advantage - Please allow an average of 2-9 business days to receive your order (occasionally longer).

USPS MediaMail - Please allow up to 3-5 weeks or longer to receive your order. MediaMail is reserved for printed matter, CD's, and DVD's only. It is the lowest priority delivery option provided by the USPS. It is not uncommon for tracking numbers to take one week or more to update. Do not select MediaMail for time-sensitive orders. Currently, USPS MediaMail is offered only to customers shipping to Alaska and Hawaii.

Free Shipping (when available, online orders only, contiguous U.S. only) - Please allow 7 - 14 business days or longer to receive your order. Split shipments are possible when choosing this method. Do not select Free Shipping for time-sensitive orders.

Which items are eligible for MediaMail shipping?

Most of our books, CDs, and DVDs can be shipped MediaMail.

Printed matter that is not eligible for MediaMail shipping includes calendars, packs of greeting cards, coloring and activity books, and journals. All "non-printed matter" is ineligible for MediaMail shipping.

Where can I find my tracking information?

UPS and USPS tracking numbers will be posted to your online account within 24 hours of being made available to us by the carrier.

To view your tracking information you must sign into your account at store.ancientfaith.com, then go to My Account > View Order Status > View Order Details. You will find tracking information there if it is available. Click the tracking number to be taken to the external USPS or UPS tracking page. Various tracking number notifications will also be emailed to you.

If you checked out as a guest, your tracking information will only be provided via email.

What does "Pre-Shipment, Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item" mean?

After our distribution center creates a label, tracking information is made available by the USPS. After the USPS has received your order, it can still take time before this message is updated, particularly if you selected MediaMail, Free (promotional), or Flat-Rate (promotional) shipping. It is not uncommon for tracking numbers to take one week or more to update when one of those ship methods is selected at checkout.

Do you ship weekends?

No. Orders placed Friday afternoon and evening and over the weekend will not ship until the next business day.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes. Allow a minimum of 2-3 weeks to receive an international order. UPDATE: Due to current circumstances, some international orders are experiencing delivery delays of 8-12 weeks or longer.

Do you offer overnight or expedited shipping?

Yes. UPS Next Day, UPS 2-Day, and UPS 3-Day shipping is available. Expedited shipping options will be present during checkout for domestic orders only.
