American Saints, large icon
The icon begins with the spiritual mission that was organized in 1793 by monks from the Valaam monastery in Russia. It tells the story of their struggle and that of other saints that planted the seed and fostered the growth of Orthodoxy in North America. Depicted in this icon are the Sts. John Kochurov, Alexis Toth, Nicholas of Zica, Alexander Hotovitzky, Jacob Netsvetov, Juvenaly, Herman of Alaska, Innocent, Tikhon, John Maximovitch, and Peter the Aleut.

Mounted on 5/8" wood with beveled, dark red edges and a satin finish.
