About the Author Myra T. Johnson is a social worker with over 30 years experience.  She earned her B.A. from Edinboro State College in PA, holds a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, and did post-graduate work at Brandeis University in MA. Myra is employed as a social worker for the County of Santa Clara Health and Hospital Systems in San Jose, CA. As a child, her favorite activities were writing and drawing. She won a writing award in junior high school. As the prize, her teacher gave her a little book called Someday You'll Write.
