This recording presents the hymns of the Divine Liturgy of St John Chrysostom, sung by Choir of Nuns of the Monastery of St Elizabeth, Minsk. It includes all the major hymns in its 22 tracks, all sung in Church Slavonic.

This recording of the hymns of the Divine Liturgy now makes three recordings by Choir of Nuns of the Monastery of St Elizabeth, Minsk (along with The All Night Vigil and Songs of the Russian Pilgrims). All are characterized by high quality recordings and great clarity. There are few recordings of the Divine Liturgy by female choirs, and this one is among the best. The voices are wonderfully synthesized to almost sound like a single voice, singing with a delicacy that makes one think of lace. The celebrant's voice is perfectly balanced with the choir's and the litanies and antiphonal response seem woven from the same cloth.
