Includes three books!

The Nativity of Christ

From the series “Scriptures and Feasts for Children.” This book about the feast of the Nativity of Christ is designed for parents to read to their children aged 2-8, although smaller children will still enjoy the illustrations. It recounts the story of the Savior's birth in a simple and clear way, while sticking close to the text of the Gospel.

In addition to the text, the book also has beautiful illustrations by Olga Podivilova on almost every page to help even the youngest children absorb as much of the story as possible. The book also explains some of the traditions about how we celebrate the Nativity and gives a few simple carols and poems for parents to sing with their children. The last section of the book is called “How to read to children about Christ's Nativity,” and contains some advice on how to teach small children about the Incarnation of the Son of God.

The Miracles of Christ

From the series “Scriptures and Feasts for Children.” Starting with the Wedding at Cana, this book goes through some of Christ’s chief miracles from the Gospels, explaining them in a simple and accessible way that follows the text of the Gospels closely.

Each story is beautifully illustrated by Orthodox artist Olga Podivilova to help engage even the youngest readers. The back contains a section for parents with advice on how to read to your children about the life of Christ in the Gospels.

The Resurrection of Christ

This is the Paschal book from the series “Scriptures and Feasts for Children.” This book goes through the events of Holy Week — the Entrance into Jerusalem, the Mystical Supper, the betrayal, crucifixion, Death, burial, and Resurrection of Christ, explaining them in a clear and simple way that is suitable for the very youngest children.

Each story is beautifully illustrated by Orthodox artist Olga Podivilova to help engage even the youngest readers.
