St. Xenia Crosses

The Saint Xenia Orthodox Cross features the letters “IC” and “XC,” the traditional Greek abbreviation for JESUS CHRIST. “IC” are the first and last letters of ISOUS (Jesus), and “XC” are the first and last letters of CHRISTOS. The letters, and the descending dove symbolizing the Holy Spirit, are shown above the inner St. Andrew-style 3-bar cross.
